Urgh, it's been so long since I have been posting here. Though honestly, my life hasn't been much interesting for me to post stuff as of late. School is finally out until I go back in May for my summer course. Recently, I saw the Hunger Games which I have been wanting to see after I have finished reading the first book. I've started to read the second one. I heard different reviews on the movie, some people said it was fantastic, some said it sucks, it's like Battle Royale (I cannot state that since I never read or watch it). So I decided to do an experiment because I heard people who hasn't read the book wouldn't be able to understand the movie as much as the people that did read it. I asked a friend to be part of it just so I could see different views.( Contains spoilers )

Been so long since I have seen a movie with my friends. We went to see Adventures of Tintin in 3D today. Now I hate 3D because of the fact I would have to wear the glasses over my own (glass-ception?) and it's annoying that I have to keep on pushing the frames on my nose in order to watch the movie. Plus the fact I am paying more money because they didn't give an option for non 3D. *sigh* miss AMC, and for those who are wondering, we actually went to Cineplex instead because it's National Popcorn Day and you get double the reward points so of course my friends and I decided to take the offer.

I still dislike the prices on the food. They are worse than my work placement in the summer.

Overall, it was a really amazing and fun film. I could do without the 3D because it's just aethetics. It doesn't improve the quality of a film. I love the story line, the wonderful action and funny scenes. It was really enjoyable. I totally recommend seeing it. I hope to see Sherlock 2 as well. There has been a lot of movies I want to see this year compare to last year.

2011 went by so fast for me. The holiday kept me busy, I planned so much things to do with my friends that I haven't seen in such a long time. I have also receive so many gifts this year, its unbelievable. ( Read more... )

I hope I don't abandon this blog. A lot of things happen since the last entry. I had gotten my first job and I must, so much customers that makes you wanna smile and others, rip out your hair for answering the same question a gazillion times. Makes me wonder if that is ever a sign of increase violence. My job is over now since it was only seasonal but I definitely earn good amount of cash. Now to find another job, though I don't know if I could handle it now I am in university.( Read more... )

It's been so long since I went to Anime North. I only went for today, there has been issues with friends but hey, what could I do. I still have a great time with my friends and met with artists I haven't seen before. Surprisingly I didn't take a lot of pictures like I use to and I am getting better at handling my money.

Sadly, they didn't have what I originally looking for so I might have to resort to buying it online. *SIGHS*

I gotten my sibling his Yu-Gi-Oh booster packs and once again, some good cards. They gave me a hug =DDD I also shown my friend around Anime North since it was her first anime convention. I say, the Artist Alley this year was AMAZING. I was so tempted to buy but I refrain and bought small stuff so I won't be updating my wall this time.

I also have gotten two bookmarks, one of them I gave to my friend. It featured Fairy Tail couples which I gotten Erza with Jellal and my friend gotten Lucy and Locke. She loves Locke and the art was fantastic. There was so much Portal fanart, my friend gave me a Portal bookmark since it was a 2 for 1 deal. Thanks buddy!

I seriously need to consider how to carry flat stuff home better since I kept on getting bent corners or bent prints. It displeases me D8

And my yaoi fangirlness has increase, I have bought my first doujinshi! From one of my favourite circles as well. I never read it before but according to her site, ti was one of her old ones. Sweet! I hope to buy more, they are a tad pricey in my opinion but it's better than shipping included.

Hopefully I would be able to debut next year or go for all three days, and maybe cosplay.

I should be working on my late English assignment but I swear, I will after this D8;; Many has confidence issues. I am one of the worst due to majority of my physical appearances, even though I have concepts I love create I am always scared to take the chance. So it's morning after late night from the concert and I absolutely love it! The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony did an amazing job with Arnie Roth! I have been waiting for this concert since the summer when I gotten my ticket from the mail. It was a wonderful experience, I hope to go to another concert. The Sony Centre of Preforming Arts was nice since this was my first concert that isn't a field trip. I was so sad that I didn't get to meet Nobuo or Arnie in person but I bought a poster with their signatures on it (says on site, they personally sign them). Surprisingly the merchandises wasn't expensive, the most expensive was $20 and that was for the CDs. The only thing expensive was the food. 10 bucks for pizza that were named Final Fantasy style XD Wut. The cheapest on the menu was $4 for a cookie.

So autumn has come and I have gone back for a 5th year at my sibling's school. Everyone is so nice, summer was okay but I wish I could have been more productive. I went to CNE and I did way more shopping than going on the rides because I can get things more cheaper. The rides are seriously expensive, not to mention the food so I always bring my own food and water, plus they give freebies =)
